Latest update on Xiaomi’s humanoid robots in actual factory operations.

After four months of fine-tuning, the success rate of double-sided operations at the self-tapping nut station has risen from 90.2% to 98%.

Two new line tasks have been introduced: sorting center console side covers and folding/recycling supply bins. Success rates for both have stabilized at 90%. The robots have also completed long-duration continuous testing with flexible workpieces.

The central government has issued the "15th Five-Year Plan" for Expanding Consumption, setting the roadmap for the consumer sector.

Key goals for the automotive industry include:

1️⃣Expanding Auto Consumption: Driving innovation across the entire sales and circulation chain. This means boosting the used-car market and scaling up the aftermarket, specifically targeting car tuning, rentals, motorsports, and RV camping.

2️⃣Accelerating Autonomous Driving: Speeding up the legalization of L3 and L4 autonomous vehicles on public roads, with vehicle access standards and right-of-way policies to be gradually defined.

3️⃣Scaling Charging Infrastructure: Deploying 40 million charging stations nationwide to support a fleet of 100 million EVs. This includes hitting 9 million public charging piles and a total public charging capacity of 500 million kW.

Here is the sales breakdown for HIMA—Huawei’s smart car alliance with five major automakers—for the first half of 2026.

AITO single-handedly carried the alliance, driving 67.19% of total sales. SAIC also crossed the 10% threshold for the first time, fueled by Z-series deliveries.

It is a brutal market. Even with Huawei's backing, the other three brands combined accounted for less than 20% of the volume.

My take on this:

ONVO's high resale value is mostly thanks to BaaS. By separating the battery—which is basically a depreciating consumable—from the car itself, it keeps the residual value high.

As for Firefly, it’s simply too popular with plenty of used-car buyers. Plus, its safety and smart tech are miles ahead of other A0-segment competitors, making it a hot seller on the secondhand market.

Officials point to a cinematic camera-movement HMI, built around the design concept of a "Global Panoramic Gallery" and "Freelander Continent."

Xiaomi SkyNomad series just hit the MIIT database. Two models were revealed: N90 and N70.

The N90 features a pop-up roof version equipped with a roof bedboard that unfolds into a rooftop tent.

Available in 7-seat and 5-seat configurations, the N90 measures 5,285mm long, 1,998mm wide, and 1,925mm tall, with a 3,080mm wheelbase.

Powering the vehicle is a 1.5L range extender delivering 112 kW, paired with a dual-motor AWD system packing 100 kW and 210 kW peak output.

Judging by the optional equipment photos, it also offers a projector and a detachable table—essentially making it a living room on wheels.
