على هامش مشاركة سلطنة عُمان في الصالون الدولي للصيد البحري وتربية المائيات بالجزائر، قام معالي الدكتور سعود بن حمود الحبسي وزير الثروة الزراعية والسمكية وموارد المياه، وسعادة السفير سيف بن ناصر البداعي سفير سلطنة عُمان لدى الجمهورية الجزائرية، والوفد المرافق، بزيارة ميدانية إلى المعهد التكنولوجي للصيد البحري.
واطّلع معاليه خلال الزيارة على مرافق المعهد وبرامجه التدريبية، كما زار السفينة العلمية التابعة للمركز الوطني للبحث والتطوير في مجال الصيد البحري وتربية المائيات بميناء وهران.
وتهدف الزيارة إلى التعرف على التجارب البحثية والتقنية في تنمية وتطوير قطاع الصيد البحري، وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مجالات البحث العلمي والتدريب والتطوير.
