🚨 COSCUP 2026 Extended CFP is now open!
The official Call for Proposals has ended — but we know some ideas are still being polished, some stories are still in progress, and some people only just found the courage to submit 😌
That’s why several tracks are reopening for an extended CFP!
If you missed the original submission period, this is your final chance to share your open source project and experiences at COSCUP 2026.
⚠️ Please note:
Not all tracks are reopening, and this extended CFP follows a “may close early at any time” policy.
Once certain tracks receive enough proposals or complete their review process, submissions may close before the deadline.
If you have a topic in mind, don’t wait until the last day 👀

🔐 COSCUP x UbuCon Asia 2026 CFP closes in 3 days — and today happens to be World Password Day.
World Password Day is a good reminder that cybersecurity is no longer only about passwords.
It’s about the resilience of our infrastructure, communication systems, open source ecosystems, and digital society as a whole.
That’s why COSCUP 2026 will continue to feature tracks related to cybersecurity and cyber resilience — and we would love to hear from contributors across the open source and security communities.
🌐 Cyber Resilience
Topics around submarine cables, communication privacy, AI-driven disinformation, digital democracy, and infrastructure resilience are becoming increasingly interconnected.
Cyber resilience is no longer just a technical challenge — it is also a social and public issue.
🛡 Hacks In Taiwan Conference
After collaborating with HITCON last year, the security track returns again in 2026.
This track focuses on cybersecurity from a developer-oriented perspective, creating more opportunities for developers and hackers to exchange ideas and making security topics more approachable for newcomers.
We’re especially looking for talks and discussions around:
• Open source security and risk management
• Supply chain security, SBOM, vulnerability disclosure, and patch workflows
• Authentication, passkeys, MFA, and real-world deployment experiences
• Communication resilience and anti-disinformation efforts
• Understanding security from the hacker perspective as a developer
If you’ve been working on something interesting, don’t leave it buried in internal slides or private notes.
Share it with the community at COSCUP.
