Great to be part of this conversation today talking about the work of @IiC_rights and the importance of dialogue and change in secure residential settings.
Our first incredibly interesting presentation this afternoon came from Dr Mark Berry from Bournemouth University whose presentation was entitled ‘Music for Futures – Lyrics and Beats Making Workshop: Building resilience in youth at risk of organised crime in Albania’
Our amazing second presentation was from Sharon Maciver from ‘Action for Children’ on ‘Understanding transitions from criminally exploited young people’
A fantastic presentation to open our event from Debra Farrow and Gemma Mann from ‘Children’s Homes in Stockton-on-Tees’ on ‘Step-down and therapeutic approaches’
Our event on the ‘Re-Imagining of Step-Down in Children’s Residential Care’ has started… There is still time to join!!
