#JusticiaParaSobrevivientes
Progress happens when survivors mobilise, but true justice requires dismantling the barriers that uphold impunity.

There are two sides to justice for survivors of child sexual abuse in Latin America:
🇧🇴 In Bolivia: The first major conviction for clergy abuse - a step forward.
🇦🇷 In Argentina: The Supreme Court has overturned a landmark conviction due to statute of limitations - a step back.
#UK 🇬🇧 @CRINwire's latest report shows how all stages of the UK's counter-terrorism system threaten children’s rights: "From pre-criminal, to pre-trial, to trial and sentencing, we need reforms and approaches that genuinely protect children". https://t.co/T52NnoSotl

Follow up! 6 Latin American survivor networks now signed a petition that rejects the draft agreement between Bolivia and the Holy See.

The Bolivian Community of Survivors (@Sobrevivi23) is speaking out against the dangerous draft concordat between Bolivia and the Holy See. This deal could seriously undermine justice for victims of child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.
Key files related to abuse cases could become inaccessible, effectively covering up the actions of predators. Transparency and accountability must be restored.
