How Your Country Will Rot When You Elect Socialists.
A step-by-step guide. But first, look north – and then across the ocean.
Picture a young couple in Toronto. Two good jobs, no hope of ever buying a home. When she needs surgery, they wait – months. In 2022, a veteran and Paralympic athlete told Canada’s parliament that when she asked the government for a wheelchair ramp, a caseworker offered her assisted dying instead. When truckers protested, the government froze their bank accounts – a court later called that unreasonable. Canada wanted to be America with better manners. It became America’s poorer, sadder cousin.
Now picture a baker in Lyon. He gets up at four to bake, and spends his Fridays filling in forms written in a language only the administration speaks. Every year a new rule, a new tax, a new inspection. His son, an engineer, left for London. Half of what the country produces passes through the state, and the baker can’t remember the last time it gave anything back. Not even security – his shop window was smashed last week and his daughter doesn’t go out after 6 PM anymore.
That is where the road leads. Here is how you get there – meet the Millers. They don’t exist, but you know them.
Step 1 – Kindness. The candidate promises free childcare, frozen rents, free buses. Mrs. Miller votes for him. Who votes against kindness?
Step 2 – The faces. Look at who gets appointed. The young, photogenic spokeswoman, chosen because she looks good in the campaign photo – diversity of faces, uniformity of thought. The kindly old man who worries so much about your goods that soon you have few of them left... And behind them, the people who actually decide: the committee – appointed, never elected – filled with activists, each one certain he knows how the Millers should live.
Step 3 – The bill. First, the rich were supposed to pay. The factory owner moved to Texas, taking two hundred jobs with him. Then the property tax went up. Then the city borrowed – and the Millers’ grandchildren inherited the debt before they were born.
Step 4 – The rules. Their son wanted to build a small house on the family lot. Two years of permits, reviews and fees later, he gave up and moved away. Meanwhile, the landlord with frozen rents stopped fixing anything, and nobody built new apartments – why would they? Homes disappeared.
Step 5 – The state grocery store. To fight "greedy supermarkets," the city opened its own. It can’t go bankrupt, so it has no reason to stock what you want. Its subsidized prices drove the family grocer out of business. Then the shelves began to empty. Poland had these stores for forty years. In the end, the shelves held mostly vinegar only.
Step 6 – Disorder. The pharmacy on Main Street put the toothpaste behind glass. Then it closed. Shoplifting under a certain amount had stopped being prosecuted, so it stopped being punished, so it stopped being rare. The honest customers paid for the thieves – and then lost the shop.
Step 7 – Speech. Their daughter learned at college which words get you reported. Mr. Miller posted a joke and lost his account. Nobody was arrested. Nobody needed to be.
Step 8 – The wolf ticket. Then Mr. Miller spoke up at a school board meeting. A week later, someone called his employer. Then his bank closed his account – "reputational risk." Under communism, Poland called it the wolf ticket: no job, no university place, no future. Nobody goes to prison. You just can’t live.
Step 9 – Dependency. More neighbors now live on a program. At election time, the candidate promises to "protect your benefits." Nobody votes against their own check. The machine has built its own voters.
Step 10 – Shame, and the empty cradle. The school taught the Miller grandchildren that their country was a crime scene to be ashamed of. Their son, in a rented apartment with no house in sight, decided one child was enough. His daughter, grown up, decided none was.
The family ceased to exist – another civilization took their place.
And all of it happens behind a smokescreen. Every week a new outrage, a new enemy, a new crisis. Conflict and chaos – nurtured, encouraged. Divide people by race, by sex, by class, and they will never unite against the bill. The news is always about the battle, never about the budget. "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste," a White House chief of staff once said. They never do. While you watch the fire, the machine grows: one more agency, one more rule, one more committee.
Nobody in this story needs to be a villain, at least theoretically… The Millers are good people. Every step felt like progress. Every step looked kind, or fair, or safe.
That is how a country rots: not in a revolution, but one kind policy at a time – each one sending its bill to someone who isn’t in the room.
Look north. Look at France. You still have the choice.
I’m Polish. If France is your future, I come from the end of that road.
France shows you the slow version. We lived the full one – the version where the state doesn’t just take care of everything. It owns everything.
In Poland it arrived with Soviet bayonets. In America it would arrive by vote – slower, softer, with better slogans. But the destination is the same, and so is the mechanism.
It starts with prices. When the state decides what things should cost, prices stop telling the truth. A price is a message: this is scarce, this is wanted, make more of this. Abolish the message, and the whole economy goes deaf. So the shelves emptied – first of meat, then of almost everything.
Every Pole knew the joke. A man walks into a shop: "No meat?" The clerk: "No, sir. Here is no fish. No meat is across the street."
We queued for everything. People wrote their place in line on their palms and kept lists through the night. You waited years for a small car, and often more than a decade for an apartment. Not because Poles were lazy. Because nobody in the system had any reason to produce what we needed.
At work, we had another joke: we pretended to work, and they pretended to pay us.
And the promise of equality? It produced the most unequal system of all. The party elite had their own shops – Poles called them the shops behind the yellow curtains. Those with dollars shopped in special stores. Everyone else got the queue.
Then the system needed informers, because nobody believed in it anymore. Our neighbors were recruited to report on us. You never knew who was listening – the colleague, the friend, sometimes family. So we learned to live a double life: one language in public, another at home.
Those who spoke up got the wolf ticket: no job, no promotion, sometimes no university place for their children. Nobody needed to send them to prison. They just couldn’t live.
The newspapers reported record harvests while the shelves stood empty. Everyone knew. Nobody said it. That is what a society looks like when the lie becomes the system.
In 1950 we were about as rich as Spain. By 1989, Spain was twice as rich. That is what forty years of "fairness" cost us.
Today in America, the method is softer. Your neighbor won’t inform on you to the secret police. Someone will report your post, and you’ll be cancelled – no job, no account, no platform. Different tools, same machine.
We got out. Ten million of us joined Solidarity, and in 1989 a system that looked eternal collapsed. Since then, Poland has become one of the great success stories of Europe – because people were finally free to build.
But we still carry it. More than thirty years later, you can see it in the careful answers, the closed faces - the system leaves faster than the fear does. It takes generations to get out of it fully once you fall into that trap.
Nobody votes for the queue. Nobody votes for the informer. They come with the promise.
Trust me, you don’t want to go down that road.
There is a special breed of trolls who are happy to eat one, not two but ONE sock of each pair between washing and drying.
They live in houses of large families.
The moment however, after months of waiting for the second sock to return, you finally throw away the single sock, they are able to regurgitate the missing one.
Field studies seem to suggest that they work together with St. Anthony, but the exact mechanisms are not explored.
Jefferson Fisher handed me a piece of red string to show what a phone does to a conversation.
The string is the connection between two people. The moment he pulled out his phone, I felt it go slack. Then he kept holding it tight, said "No, no, I'm listening. Go right ahead." and I was the one who let go of the line.

🚨🇮🇹 Meanwhile in Italy
The 400 Year Old Monastery of Bernaga has just been burned to ashes & now lies in ruins.
Thankfully all the Nuns escaped the blaze.
All these fires can’t simply be by accident - they keep on happening almost daily.
I made her famous!
This is an older video I've never posted on X. Anne is my favorite discovery. Her post going viral on Instagram during the infancy of Model Strangers changed my life - and hers.
Y a ti... ¿cuál de estos recuerdos te tocó más el corazón? Te leo en los comentarios 👇❤️

How Weak Men Come About
It starts at home. The household is rich and civilized, and that is often understood as a sophisticated softness and smoothness. Feminine values take over. The mother rules at home and can afford to give her boy everything: to fulfil his every whim, to do everything for him. And so she does. With one child per family, it is often six adults – two parents, four grandparents – serving one boy. So the boy gets everything, for free, and immediately. He never takes the marshmallow test, because there is never anything to wait for. He never fails, because no one lets him. A boy becomes a man by meeting resistance, and his home has removed all of it.
And where is the father? Sometimes gone after a divorce, a weekend visitor. But even when he stays, he is gone. He leaves in the morning for abstract work the boy cannot see or relate to: meetings, emails, a screen. For thousands of years, a boy watched his father work, then worked beside him, then took over. He learned from older men by doing, and one day they told him: now you are a man. That apprenticeship has disappeared, and nobody ever tells him.
Then come the group dynamics at school. If the majority of boys already start like that, it becomes a self-reinforcing behavioral norm. Boys want to belong, so they all act soft. The one who wants to stay strong ends up alone, and loses. The predominantly female teaching staff reinforces it. The men teachers, a small minority, end up dominated by the feminine atmosphere of the school. There are no trees to climb and no fights to settle – the playground is padded. Competition becomes suspect, risk becomes a safety violation, and the restless boy who once got a football field now gets a diagnosis. The leftist curriculum only adds to that, teaching the boy that his strength is a problem to be managed.
Meanwhile the screen gives him everything a man used to fight for, for free. Video games give victory without a fight. Porn gives sex without courting a woman. Likes give status without achieving anything. Why pay the real price when the fake one costs nothing? So he doesn’t.
Then the leftist academia finishes him off. Three more years of learning that the men who built his civilization were oppressors, and that the right answer is always the softest one.
Then the HR-dominated corporate world simply keeps him that way. Promotion goes to whoever offends no one. The man who says the plan is bad is "not a team player". What school started, the office maintains for forty years.
The propaganda reinforces every mechanism along the way. In films, sitcoms and ads, the father is the idiot whom the wife and kids correct, and strength is either a joke or a threat. The boy learns early what a man is supposed to be.
And at the end, the state takes the last role he had left. It provides for the mother, so the provider becomes unnecessary. A man nobody needs has no reason to be strong.
And so it goes. Our men end up weak. This is not because they were born weak. It is because every institution they passed through rewarded softness and punished strength, from the first toy to the last performance review.
That is why we are being conquered by Muslims who laugh at us, seeing all of that.
LETS NOT FORGET THE FOLLOWING: DELCY = MADURO
@NicolasMaduro and @ConCiliaFlores had two key accomplices on ALL of their crimes: @delcyrodriguezv and @jorgerpsuv. Without the latter pair the former would have been unable to commit all their crimes and survive. The Rodríguez Gómez siblings served as primary supporters and advocated 24/7 - and globally - on behalf of the two individuals now confined in Brooklyn.
Let’s NEVER overlook this: Delcy is Maduro, Jorge is Cilia. As illegitimate, as brazen, as criminal, as guilty.
Dear Mr. Vice President @JDVance
The definition of socialism was established centuries ago, and there is no need to redefine it or reinvent the wheel.
Socialism is the state’s seizure of the means of production and its extensive intervention in the economy. Over time, this has evolved. Today, rather than directly controlling the means of production, we increasingly see the state exerting control over the profits of those who create wealth, allowing an all-powerful government to seize and redistribute them as it sees fit.
It is the classic example of bureaucrats and elected officials believing they can manage the economy—an extraordinarily complex web of millions of social and economic interactions—better than the market itself.
Of course, both a completely free market and state control of the economy have their advantages and disadvantages. But centuries of history have shown us that the less government control and economic intervention there is, the greater the benefits. In other words, less socialism produces better outcomes. This is precisely why this blessed nation, the United States of America, is so prosperous: its Founding Fathers understood that liberty must take precedence over government control.
Socialism has failed wherever it has been tried for centuries. It has been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of people and has consistently given rise to totalitarian regimes that have devastated their own populations.
Caricaturing socialism or attempting to redefine it will only serve to undermine the extraordinary legacy this prosperous nation has built over the past 250 years.
For those who may not know, Delcy Rodríguez has had greater responsibility for and oversight of the torture of U.S. citizens in Venezuela than Maduro or Cilia Flores ever did.
A reminder an HGV driver wrote to me. He delivers live animals to abattoirs & describes the places as sadistic, vile & depraved cruelty. Halal slaughter should be banned immediately.
"David I need to remain anonymous to keep my job as I work for a large multinational that are very PC/woke and me getting involved in any sort of discussion like this would cost me my job.
"I’ve worked previously as a HGV driver delivering livestock to slaughterhouses. In the build up to Ramadan the company I worked for made sheep deliveries to halal slaughterhouses up and down the country.
"We’d always deliver after dark and the loading bays would be full of Muslim men and boys who’d come to choose their sheep. They’d be climbing up the outside of the trailer to get a look in and try pick which one they wanted. They’d be shouting and screaming whilst banging on the trailer to try get the sheep to move around.
"Drivers would always do their best to try stop them as the animals are still in their care whilst on the vehicle. Once the trailer door was open the men would be jumping in the trailers trying to grab their sheep and mark it. We’d often end up physically removing the men and a few times it ended up in fists flying.
"Once the sheep had been herded into the slaughterhouse pens the real barbarism would begin. After waiting hours and hours with no access to water the Sheep were punched and kicked by the men and boys and forced onto the waiting line to be slaughtered. The whole place is absolute chaos with people screaming and shouting and the sound of dying animals.
"Once they reached the front of the queue there’d be an imam sat there reciting prayers as the slaughter man grabbed the animal by the head, spun it round and slit its throat. It would then be hung upside down on an overhead hook conveyor and transported for butchering as it was still bleeding and writhing around in agony.
"It’s not an instant death by any means. The supposed “vet” whose job is to maintain welfare standards is nearly always a friend of the owners and is also Muslim who’s paid and simply turns a blind eye. The whole place is a complete blood bath. Zero welfare standards, zero compassion.
"In comparison we used to deliver pigs to slaughterhouses and the welfare levels are immense. Animals were herded without any physical contact at all, if you so much as touched an animal the vet would have you and your company banned from the site immediately and reported to the relevant authorities too.
"The animals are slaughtered with a single bolt to the back of the head. It’s instant and pain free.
"I just thought I’d give some inside information as to what goes on.
"Halal meat is vile and it needs to be banned."
