​​During his visit to 8 Bn in Bishnupur(Manipur), DG @crpfindia Shri @gpsinghips witnessed the final of the Women Football Tournament under Khelo India – SAI SPANDAN in Manipur, advancing the vision of "Sports for Peace, Unity & Development."

​Felicitating the teams, DG highlighted sports as a catalyst for youth empowerment, trust, and lasting harmony.

​Under the aegis of Khelo India – SAI SPANDAN, @crpfindia has spearheaded a massive sports initiative across Manipur.

​Witnessing unprecedented enthusiasm and sporting spirit, local players and communities have joined hands with CRPF personnel across 120 locations to build mutual trust, youth empowerment, and enduring peace.

120 events have been organised across 120 locations (97 Male | 23 Female events)

​Key Disciplines: Marathon (71), Football (12), Volleyball (8), Kabaddi (8), Badminton (8), Cricket (7), Cycling (4), and Archery (2)

DG, CRPF, Shri @gpsinghips, along with senior officials, accorded a memorable farewell to Shri Pankaj Kumar, DIG, Bihar Sector, at Force HQ, marking the completion of his 33 years of distinguished service to the Force.

Shri Pankaj Kumar joined the CRPF in 1993 as an Assistant Commandant of the 24th batch of Directly Appointed Gazetted Officers (DAGOs) and served the Force with unwavering courage, dedication and commitment.

During his illustrious career, he served in various parts of the country in diverse capacities. One of his notable assignments was in Jharkhand Sector, where he played a significant role in containing Maoist violence.

In recognition of his praiseworthy service he was awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service, DG commendation disc and certificate on multiple occasions.

CRPF honours his distinguished service, unwavering dedication and valuable contribution to the Force and the Nation, and extends him sincere wishes for good health, happiness and continued fulfilment in the journey ahead.

Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi, ADG, SZ Hqr, was accorded a grand farewell by DG, CRPF, Shri @gpsinghips, along with senior officers, at Force HQ, on the completion of his 40 years of distinguished service to the Force.

Shri Sahi joined the CRPF in 1986 as an officer of the 18th batch of Directly Appointed Gazetted Officers (DAGOs). An accomplished operational commander, he led from the front through numerous challenging operations, displaying exceptional courage, sound leadership and an unwavering commitment to duty.

His distinguished service and gallantry were recognised with the Police Medal for Gallantry, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

CRPF salutes his exemplary service, courageous leadership and steadfast dedication to the Force and the Nation, and extends its best wishes to him for good health, happiness and a fulfilling journey ahead.

I commend the Officers and Personnel of the @KolkataPolice STF in successfully tracking and apprehending Asim Mandal @ Akash, Central Committee Member and Secretary of the West Bengal State Committee-I, CPI (Maoist), from Lalat; Patashpur, Purba Medinipur.

Evading law enforcement for more than 15 years across inter-state forest belts, his apprehension on the basis of sharp technical intelligence demonstrates the exceptional operational competence of our Police Force.
I want to make it categorically clear that West Bengal Government will not tolerate any attempt to revive or expand the network of 'Red Terror' within our State borders.
No extremist ideology will be allowed to jeopardize the safety & security of the People and jeopardize the development of our State. The law will take its strictest course to demolish any such audacious attempt.
