Lawrence Custis (tall) Michael Treadwell (short) attended the Governor’s Career Expo with Andrea Woodard, school counselor on Wednesday at the Blue Hen Mall. The students found several careers interesting from DelDot’s road crews, to carpentry, elevator repair, and the military.

Congratulations to the Lady Senators basketball team for pulling out an OT victory against CR with a final score of 54-51. Heaven Robinson scored 10 points tonight including 6 of them in OT. Great job Heaven!!

Students learned how to create art using clear sheets of acetate paper, permanent markers, paint and foil. The paint made the color “opaque” so that you could not see the foil. The permanent markers made the colors “transparent” and the foil underneath appears to shimmer.
Ms. Haberman works with students from KCSILC’s MakerSpace class to plant containers for our school garden. Thank you to the University of Delaware’s Cooperative Extension Program for supporting our students!
