This new #garage brings major improvements that will benefit #CTDOT crews and the public. These upgrades are essential to improving and maintaining our roads safely and efficiently.

🚆Big upgrades are coming to the New Haven Line!

TIME-1 will rebuild railroad between Stratford and Bridgeport, allowing trains to reach speeds of up to 90 mph.

A #bridge is struck by a vehicle every day in CT on average. It’s important to always know the height of your vehicle, especially when driving a large truck.

If you realize your vehicle is too tall to fit under the bridge and can’t reroute, pull over and call 911.

Two years ago today, our friend and colleague Andrew DiDomenico was killed in a work zone crash caused by an impaired driver. We remember Andrew today, and always. Roadside workers put themselves at risk every time they step onto a job site, and it’s on us to keep them safe.
