We are open and ready for you at the Native Sons Hall. There are 30 vendors here today that have made, baked, grown, raised or wild harvested their products right here in the Comox Valley and Strathcona Regional Districts.

There may be a bit of much needed rain outside but that hasn't stopped us from bringing fresh local and delicious food to the Native Sons Hall for you.
We also want to extend a big farmers market welcome to Matriarch Meats our newest vendor!

Today we will be celebrating Lunar New Year. There are decorations and displays, a flash mob band, scavenger hunt and kids crafts.

Our first Saturday market of the season is this Saturday January 11 from 9-1 at the Native Sons Hall.
No matter if you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice or don't celebrate at all, we want spread joyous cheer with our warmest wishes.

Note: The market will be closed December 28 and January 4 and will reopen on January 11.
As we are nearing the close of the darkest day of the year it is a good reminder to honor our connection to the natural world. This is time for great stillness before the Sun's strength builds, and days grow longer.
