The second (Weekly Window) Wednesday in May is "National Third/Night Shift Workers Day," so here's a selection for those of you who are used to seeing windows lit from within. (It's also "World Facilities Management Day," so remember to clean your windows!)

Today is "World Logic Day," a holiday more fitting to Star Trek's planet Vulcan than our own. But let's pause to appreciate the cool, mathmatically derived beauty of these frosted window panes as Spock himself might; and so calmed, better face the emotional turmult on Earth.

January 7 is "Invisible Pain Day," something window cleaners feel when asked to clean glass embellished with artistic scaffolding or fins or shades. Like, what did we ever do to offend architects? I mean, yeah, we can clean it, but, dude...
