Вдячний, що Міжнародна консультативна група з питань залучення інвестицій та економічного розвитку України працює, і працює активно. Сьогодні разом із Прем’єр-міністеркою Юлією Свириденко, урядовцями та командою Офісу обговорили дві важливі речі.

П��рше – буде підготовлена комплексна економічна стратегія. Потрібні саме такі кроки, які дадуть Україні більше економічного зростання та дозволять створити більше можливостей для того, щоб наші люди залишались у нашій країні та створювали робочі місця в Україні.

Друге – це підготовка до конференції в Гданську з питань відновлення України. Конференція запланована вже на червень, і потрібно, щоб у нас були сильні результати в інтересах стійкості України та швидкого відновлення.

I am grateful that the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development of Ukraine is working – and working actively. Today, together with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, government officials, and the Office team, we discussed two important points.

First, a comprehensive economic strategy will be prepared. We need steps that will deliver stronger economic growth for Ukraine and create more opportunities for our people to stay in the country and build jobs in Ukraine.

Second, we are preparing for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. The conference is scheduled for June, and we need to ensure strong results in the interests of Ukraine’s resilience and rapid recovery.

I thank everyone who stands with our state. Grateful to be in New York Friday night and honoured to receive the Heroes of Democracy Award from @RenewDemocracy.
When they lived behind the Iron Curtain, Ukrainians and people throughout the USSR looked to America as the City on the Hill - the foremost fighter for freedom in the world. That inspiring leadership is so important to cherish and remember. Because a world in which America supports tyranny abroad and suppresses freedom at home is a world where democracy everywhere is weaker.
 Standing firm for Ukraine and for liberal democracy everywhere has never mattered more.
