#WilsonFIRE [UPDATE 9:30p.m.] Crews are making great progress on the fire, establishing containment and laying hose around the fire perimeter. The fire is mapped at 18-acres. Some air and ground resources have been released from the incident. No injuries reported.

VEGETATION FIRE - rpt @ 5:35p.m. at Sage Road and Wilson Valley Road in the unincorporated area of Sage. Multiple air and ground resources are responding to multiple reports of brush and grass on fire in a field with a large smoke column showing. The incident commander reported 15 acres burning in medium fuels at a moderate rate of spread. Additional engines and aircraft are requested with assistance from surrounding agencies. Additional updates to follow as the incident develops.

AUTO VS PEDESTRIAN - rpt @ 8:32p.m. at Chandis Way and Golf Center Parkway in the @CityofIndio. The first-arriving unit reported one patient trapped beneath a vehicle. Firefighters used specialized lifting airbags to raise the vehicle and free the injured patient. One patient was transported by air ambulance to a local trauma center. The incident was turned over to the @Indiopd.

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE - rpt @ 8:27a.m. at the 30700 block of Eucalyptus Rd. in the unincorporated area of Winchester. Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire and stopped the forward rate of spread at approximately one-half acre at 9:07a.m.. The fire extended to a double-wide residential structure and threatened a nearby garage and RV. @SCE has been requested to the incident.

#EucalyptusIC [UPDATE 3:50p.m.] While firefighters were conducting mop-up and containment operations on the south side of the property, they received reports that the original structure had rekindled.

Crews confirmed the structure was involved in fire, with extension into surrounding vegetation, an adjacent structure, and a nearby RV. Firefighters contained the structure and vegetation fires, stopping the forward rate of spread at approximately 3:00 p.m. at one acre.

Resources will remain committed for several hours to complete mop-up operations. The fires are under investigation. No injuries were reported.

TRAFFIC COLLISION - Rpt @ 6:13 a.m. Westbound Highway 60 / Country Village Rd. in the City of Jurupa Valley. Firefighters responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision involving a vehicle that struck a pedestrian. A total of two patients were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with moderate to serious injuries, and one patient with minor injuries was evaluated at scene and declined further care. CHP is investigating.

#VolcanoFIRE[UPDATE 7/9/26 @ 8:15 AM]: Acreage remains at 143.6 and containment at 60%. Crews strengthened containment lines last night and hit hotspots in the interior of the fire. Crews will continue to extend the lines and mop up heavy deposit areas in the steep terrain.
