Everybody is commenting on how pressers are so hard and anybody would crumble at that podium.
Sure, there will be growing pains, but a coherent, consistent view on both sides of the dual mandate is table stakes for a Fed chair.
Regardless of Warsh's rhetorical choices, he's arguably the most impactful public figure when it comes to interest rates.
Interest rates are the most important variable in how we all approach financial decisions.
At the very least, he needs to keep his story straight.
Who has two thumbs, half a brain, and will foolishly watch every Warsh presser just to listen to him poo poo every question because he has a task force for that?
