Was just told to stop taking the med I started last week due to high heartrate spikes. I'll see what my doc says when I see her next week.
Maybe something will work better.
@S_R_Hamilton_ Either have a phone call or knock at the door. If that doesn't work, write the scene from a different POV or voice entirely (1st, 3rd, etc) until things start moving again.
I wrote today. It wasn't much, but I added a few details to something I started last fall.
I'm exhausted now, of course, and in pain (eyes have a hard time focusing), so I probably overdid it.
But I'm still trying. I miss writing so much.
Day 2 on new meds. It's been weird so far. It makes me tired but gives me false energy, I'm hungry but not, I have chills, dizzy, lightheaded, feeling even more out of it...
BUT (and this is a big but) it isn't nearly as terrible as the last med I tried.
So that's a win.
Apparently it's my 4 year anniversary on here. Still so happy with all the relationships I've formed, even if I'm super quiet these days.
You all kick ass.
(I'm not calling it X. It will never be X)
Just giving another update. I've started taking some new depression meds today. Hoping maybe they can help, or prove to my docs that something else is going on.
I am so sorry for not writing/publishing. All of the med stuff uses the little energy I have.
Hope you're well.
This week is 'Kissing in the rain' week for Jae's sapphic book bingo.
Alpha's Choice is just one of the cozy, amazing titles you can pick up, so be sure to check them all out.

Had a sleep study & mslt done. Told I have insomnia at night and hypersomnia during the day (like narcolepsy but different).
However, because I have lifelong depression, it's probably just that...
It couldn't possibly have anything to do with fibro pain or my cfs. Right...
Health update:
finished iron infusions today, numbers are going up but still feel like shit.
Brain mri from before was white matter disease (getting old) and we'll recheck in a year for possible MS.
Checked cardio, heart is good.
Saw pulmonology today. Sleep study pending.
Health update:
-borderline low ferritin. Start iron infusions next week.
- brain MRI shows two lesions that are nonspecific. Waiting to hear back from neuro on what the cause (according to her) might be (migraines, Lyme, MS etc).
Health update:
So far, we know I have CFS, binocular vision dysfunction, and fibro.
I'll be getting a brain mri this week to rule other things out. See a hematologist tomorrow due to low blood levels.
Hope you all are well.
Health update:
the fatigue from my CFS is getting worse. I've also started having neuro symptoms such as burning and pain in my arms and legs, so in addition to waiting on a 2nd opinion from another rheumatologist, I'm now waiting to see neuro as well.
I you guys so much.
