My best friend in ABQ was a 60+ year old man who drank at the same bar as me a lot, his name was Ronnie and he was the coolest guy ever. I’m p sure he’s still alive but I lost touch when I left the city:/
I went looking for the great horned owl tonight & there was an event happening at the park event center. While I was photographing a woodpecker a lady came up to me & asked if I was part of the event. I was worried she was going to ask me to leave, but I told her I was just out looking for owls. she asked if I was going to see the barn owls....EXCUSE ME WHAT BARN OWLS??!?!?
Turns out there is a pair of barn owls nesting in one of the park barns & she is one of the park managers. She took me to look in one of the side buildings where they usually perch (away from the nest) & one of them was right above us! The area is closed to the public, but she gave me permission to come back to take pictures anytime!!!!
Just a reminder: You may notice gas prices inching down a bit. They’re now increasing the level of ethanol they put into our gasoline from 10% to 15%. Started May 1. This is really bad for our cars and will cause damage to our car’s fuel system due to corrosion.
@r3gnamlls no bc I never said id prefer homophobic people over queer people. I said id prefer to be in company with a bisexual girl and her boyfriend at pride over biphobic queer people at pride. not sure why this is a hard concept to comprehend, I was very clear in my og tweet.
@onirnam@peachylian@jjoshyhutch so ignoring all of this blatant biphobia, straight men are allowed at pride. not only because “straight” doesn’t mean “not queer” (trans men can be straight!), but also because allies are allowed and welcome at pride. people bring allies friends and family, why not a SO?
