Build and sell cheats, get shut down.

Yesterday, following our lawsuit against the cheat devs behind Zenith and Devware, they apologized to the Call of Duty community, confirmed their cheat services are permanently shut down and had some advice for other cheat makers:

“If you’re making cheats, I strongly recommend that you stop now, or Activision will catch you too.”

This is what taking the fight to cheat sellers looks like. They aren't the only cheat maker we’ve put on notice: we’ve been busy going after illicit vendors to protect fair play.

MORE PROTECTION AT LAUNCH

The Modern Warfare 4 Beta gave Team RICOCHET valuable real-world data. Across both weekends, we adapted detections, took action, and learned more about how cheat makers are trying to attack the game.

This work is never done. We’re always testing and validating our tools. During that process, we discovered an unintended interaction between detection systems. We corrected any impacted accounts, fixed the issue, and are carrying those learnings forward.

At launch, we'll also be introducing new RICOCHET Anti-Cheat protections designed to limit what cheat software can see, further disrupting the effectiveness of wallhacks. More to come soon.
