We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Scott Jones, father of Lairds players Ellis Jones and Jayden Jones.

Scott was the former U23 manager of Vauxhall Motors, and will be a huge loss to football on the Wirral.

All of our thoughts are with his family and friends 🙏💙
