Parking lots, airfields, freeways… we’ve had a lot of fun these past few weeks tracking down billboards across Canada celebrating our JUNO Award nomination. 👀
Stay tuned for highlights from JUNO Week in #Hamilton, and details of how you can tune in for the awards gala.
We’re thrilled and honoured to share that Where Waters Meet has been nominated for Classical Album of the Year (Large Ensemble) at the 2026 @TheJUNOAwards — exactly a decade after our first JUNO nomination for Sacred Reflections of Canada. https://t.co/LtuqFKt7iB
The incredible album artwork for Where Waters Meet was created especially for the CCC by Chipewyan artist John Rombough. 🎨🖌️
When our singers and board members saw the finished piece, several were compelled to commission paintings of their own! Here are just a few of them… ✨
Have you watched it yet? The official video for “River” (#JoniMitchell) by the Canadian Chamber Choir, featuring the incredible Karla Ferguson, is out now! 🎶✨

It was such a pleasure to record at the beautiful The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston, ON. Feeling grateful for the entire CCC family and production team who brought this project to life!

John personally delivered the painting during our tour to Yellowknife in the fall of 2019, making it an even more meaningful part of our journey. Here's the artist statement, which was included in the album's liner notes:
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the stunning artwork for Where Waters Meet! The CCC commissioned renowned Yellowknife-based Dene artist John Rombough [pictured] to create this captivating piece, Sacred Water, which beautifully embodies the themes of the album.
Did you know? The sheet music for Nipîy (Water Song) by @indigenousmusic is now available! https://t.co/M0l7v0IaGb
Fun to be able to share it with @ExultateChamber earlier this month with Sherryl on hand to teach singing techniques and pronunciations in Woodland Cree, Y-Dialect.
We had an amazing time with students at @CSS_CarpeDiem in #NorthBay earlier this week! This hands-on workshop featured Sherryl Sewepagaham leading the “Travelling Stick Game," along with a vocal technique demonstration and mini-performance by the Canadian Chamber Choir.
The CCC’s debut performance in #Huntsville is officially in the books, and we had a wonderful time performing for an enthusiastic audience as cottage season winds down. (Fittingly, we're all staying in cottages tonight!)
Thank you, #Toronto! What a fantastic way to kick off our tour surrounded by friends. We're so grateful to Babεl and @ExultateChamber for sharing the stage with us; and to Dr. Elaine Choi (with assists from @PaxChristiChor and @TEMCtoronto) for making this visit possible!
Look who dropped by our rehearsal last night in Toronto to say hello! So great to see our dear friend @AaronFProsper. Aaron was a key collaborator during our Fall 2023 tour and a tremendous inspiration and guiding force in the evolution of the Where Waters Meet project.
