Our final decisions show that all imports of TMFT are being sold at unfair prices (dumped) in Canada and most are subsidized. Temporary duties remain in effect until it’s determined whether these imports are harming Canada’s industry.

As of 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time on June 5, 2026, most visa-exempt travellers coming directly to Canada by boat from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon need an electronic travel authorization (eTA): https://t.co/0fWmtrYiGu
The following groups do not need an eTA:
• cruise ship passengers
• crew members and seafarers actively working on a commercial vessel, including cruise ships
• French citizens who live in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
• US citizens and permanent residents
This change will help strengthen border security while supporting safe and orderly travel, tourism, and economic connections between Canada, Atlantic communities and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
