Under his plea bargain, ex-FDNY firefighter Michael Peña got a lighter prison sentence for the DWI crash that killed 23-year-old Justin Diaz.
The judge called Diaz "every parent's dream."

@Lovetogarden1 It is a devastating time. My cousin just earned his degree in aeronautics. We gave it to him in his coffin. That's what this monster took away.
My cousin, Justin Diaz, was just 23, on his way to work an overtime shift at LaGuardia when a drunk, high off-duty firefighter killed him.
We’re fighting for justice—and it’s costly.

Many of you know my cousin was killed by a drunk, high, off-duty firefighter.
I started Justice for Justin Diaz on FB to organize. No killer should be walking free on the streets while my 23 year old cousin is dead.

@S1sterDisco It is. My 23 year old cousin just earned a degree in aeronautics. He took an extra shift at LaGuardia and was off to work when he was killed. My whole family is devastated.
While Pena stole everything from Justin & was charged with MANSLAUGHTER, bail was set at $50K- meaning he only had to pay $5K.
I want everyone to think about this. There's no justice in this world, especially in NY, when we let MURDERERS walk on our streets for $5,000. NONE.
