We’ve been investigating frictional forces in our science lesson today. We used different objects to find out if a rough or a smooth surface gave more or less friction to our objects when they were moved with a push @Cornerstonesedu@LT_Trust@CanonSharples#forcesandmagnets

Y4 are thoroughly enjoying our new book study, Mary Anning: The Girl who Cracked Open the World in our English lessons. Today, we are focusing on reading ambitious vocabulary and answering questions about what we have read @LT_Trust@CanonSharples 📚📖🦴
Some of our Y3 children have been using counting sticks to practise counting in multiples of 2,5 and 10. They were able to count forwards & backwards, identify patterns & missing numbers using this resource. Great job girls 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @LT_Trust@CanonSharples
We had an awesome time taking part in a scootability session with @teamrubicon_ on Friday. A huge thanks to our instructor, Eleanor for her expert tuition & guidance @LT_Trust@CanonSharples
As a hook into our new topic #rocksrelicsandrumbles, Y3/4A have been investigating rock samples. We carried out observations of appearance & properties to identify whether each rock sample was sedimentary, igneous or metamorphic @LT_Trust@CanonSharples@Cornerstonesedu
