@davidfoxjr@RaiderMark@SSN_TTU True…I’m reading the commissioners in competing conferences have sent letters to their member ADs telling them not to schedule games with TTU. The Big12 commissioners are meeting tomorrow to discuss this ruling as well. Lots of pressure being asserted & rightfully so
@WarEagle10230@RaiderMark@SSN_TTU Sorsby didn’t violate a contract, there is no signed agreement between him and the NCAA. He violated a rulebook, and a judge is now saying that rulebook might not even be enforceable. That’s why the optics for Tech look awful supporting this decision
@RaiderMark@SSN_TTU Betting is the one universally black‑and‑white rule across every sport aka the sacred cow. If this Texas injunction stands, the judge isn’t protecting fairness, he’s blowing a hole in the basic fabric of fair competition
@HAWK_GUYS The ISU/Iowa situation is not the same as Sorsby. Those kids got hammered before NIL existed & didn’t have the money to fight the NCAA. Sorsby walks in with a $5M NIL deal, hasn’t even taken a class at Tech, and suddenly he’s eligible. Tell me that’s not pay‑for‑play
@Auburn84@joocancer@joybhattacharj Criticizing America is one thing but spewing cheap fabricated anti-American talking points is another. You seem to be obsessed with America so If you have a real argument, make it without the smug tribal nonsense.
@joocancer@joybhattacharj Read it first yourself - it was just disclosed & reported on & facts are still coming in. The sentiment is amplified recently by the younger college graduates looking for employment. All for H-1B visas if they are valid & not bought

@aryan_raj_tough@BBCNews Trump will likely deport the thousands of H-1B visa workers in the U.S. who bought fraudulent degrees & credentials from fraudsters in India. I can’t believe this was not discovered sooner based on the alleged scale of the fraud
@Chelsearory To be fair, the minimum capacity FIFA requirements eliminates over 90% of the English stadiums, that’s why NFL Stadiums are being used. Our 27 MLS stadiums are similar in size to the football stadiums in England, they are just newer
@yea_itsme0@ScottDochterman@nelson_brands@Expansion_Crush Sorsby broke a black & white gambling rule that every major sports league agrees on, the judge ruled against the most important integrity standard in sports, & you still think everything was neutral. That’s adorable
@ScottDochterman@nelson_brands@Expansion_Crush Comparing Dekkers at ISU to Sorsby isn’t relevant. Dekkers had no institutional or NIL support so he couldn’t afford to sue the NCAA. Sorsby in the NIL era has the resources to sue. One had the means to challenge the ruling, the other didn’t & that’s the entire difference
@Logicull@LumenExTenebris Many opposing fans in Europe are organized groups built for sowing hostility and chaos. In the US, opposing fans are mostly parents, students, and alumni, not professional team instigators. Totally different cultures, so the atmosphere comparison doesn’t land.
@lackmeftwich806@StephenMcG44630@SethDavisHoops This is why comparing Dekkers at ISU to Sorsby isn’t relevant. Dekkers had no institutional or NIL support so he couldn’t afford to sue the. Sorsby in the NIL era has the resources to sue. One had the means to challenge the ruling, the other didn’t & that’s the entire difference
@BigDick_Rick420@augustabulldawg Anyone who’s ever been a member of a country club knows the cost for a membership is the same for an individual & a family. Your comment on how to divide the dues makes no sense. Non-paying family members should not be allowed to play in the club championships, this is the norm
@lackmeftwich806@StephenMcG44630@SethDavisHoops With no legal contract in place, the first filer picks the court. NIL collectives fund the legal and compliance support around athletes, which lowers the cost of fighting the NCAA. That loophole fuels more litigation & reinforces the pay‑for‑play dynamic.
@joocancer@joybhattacharj This has nothing to do with migration, read the post again - it’s about the thousands of fraudulent fake credentials created & bought through ghost companies in India to obtain fraudulent H-1B Visas to work in America. This will destroy legitimate H-1B applicants - congrats
@TheFuturist2045@Bernardinho_P Have you seen the new stadium location? There’s no room to expand parking, hotels, or restaurants. Bears fans are local & they drive in and drive home on game days. The Chicago Bears aren’t a destination franchise like Vegas, Nashville, or New Orleans so new hotels are not needed
