Despite these immense challenges, NGOs continue to provide life-saving assistance to vulnerable communities and people in urgent need. Many humanitarian workers are themselves displaced, sharing the same hardships and uncertainty as the communities they support.

🚨 The human toll is devastating: since 2 March, more than 3,700 people have been killed and over 11,700 injured. Repeated attacks on healthcare and civilian infrastructure have left communities struggling to access essential services and rebuild their lives.

“Since the full siege was imposed on 2 March, CARE has not been able to deliver any of our $1.5 million worth of pre-positioned supplies into Gaza,” said Jolien Veldwijk, Country Director of CARE.
