Founded in 1908 in the Nottingham area, we sing together for pleasure, to entertain our audiences and support good causes. New singers warmly welcomed!
A real privilege to perform today with @CarltonMVC at @StFagans_Museum a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with great music. Thank you @CarltonMVC for inviting us! Diolch yn fawr iwan!
This Saturday we are in the Swansea area in concert at the magnificent All Saints Church, Oystermouth with Dunvant, another of the great Welsh male choirs, the oldest continuous male choir in Wales. A chance to measure our own standards by singing alongside the very best!
We can hardly wait for Friday when the choir sets off across the border to unite in song with Dowlais Male Choir, based in the valley town of Merthyr Tydfil. It's a privilege to share a stage with one of Wales most historically famous choirs.
A fantastic weekend ahead kicks off with a return invitation for the choir to appear a the Nottingham Beer Festival at Trent Bridge this Thursday the12th. Come to the the main stage between 1 and 2 and see how the choir performs at an 'untypical'event (and enjoy a beer or two!)
@NUH_StrokePTs@CarltonMVC @NUHAdultSLT @TheStrokeAssoc love ❤️ to see this — we know that music & singing helps our brains & thanks for sharing this joy with the world 🌟
Yesterday we said goodbye to Joy Marriott/Simkin, a Life Vice-President of Carlton Male Voice Choir. She had an outstanding, beautiful soprano voice and was guest soloist at many of the choir’s concerts. We’ll miss her and send our sympathy and loving thoughts to her family
We're still buzzing after a fabulous Festival. Now looking forward to our May tour 'south', singing with two great choirs and entertaining the good folk of Northampton and Bournemouth. Come and see us if you're in the area(s)
Really looking forward to I WILL BE A CHILD OF PEACE at our Festival Concert. A beautiful old Shaker song, gorgeous melody, unusual 5/4 metre, soaring dynamics. Arranger Elaine Hagenberg 'Suitable for times of uncertainty perfect as a warm, affirmative call or response to prayer"
Quality research has found many clear reasons to join one of many choirs in the area. Visit us at Carlton MVC and 'find your voice', Wednesdays 7.30 at Netherfield Baptist See website https://t.co/HH0rzoaSH7 for further details.

The main theme from the 2012 Bond film SKYFALL, written and performed by Adele and Paul Epworth.has been a bit of a nightmare to learn - syncopated rhythms and tricky notes, but we love it! As the lyrics remind us, 'When things go wrong we should all stand tall together'!
Our Festival Concert features two folk songs. In Marta Keen's HOMEWARD BOUND the singer has tired of adventure and longs for home. This segways into a Northumbrian ballad, Michael Neaum's arrangement of the Water of Tyne with lovers separated by the river yearning to be reunited
We open the Festival Concert appropriately with a challenging piece by one of our favourite composers, Dan Forrest, words by poet Ralph Waldo Emerson, telling that wherever we go, not only in the old or young, fair or foul, but in everything around us…. ALWAY SOMETHING SINGS
A flashback photo of last year's Festival Concert. Looking forward very much to next Saturday as we return to the iconic Albert Hall for Festival 2023. Tickets still on sale. Come along and hear our brand new programme of songs, a number of which we'll preview soon on Twitter
