I basically use this to contact sources for work. I'll try not to post anything here that isn't redundant.
Elon Musk is a shame to America, the world, and autistic people who care (like me).
I finally set up a Bluesky account, and I am most active on substack.
Eat shit, Elon.
@Flickabet No idea which study I was referring to 11 months ago, sorry. I looked in my drive to see if it's something I kept, and it isn't. That memo is so insulting, wow.
Helping a family exit Gaza is maybe the hardest thing I have done in my life. This genocide is real and life-changing. Those of us watching and helping are forever made different. These people were abandoned by the entire world. The buck stops here and I hope it stops w/ you too.
(9) Get to know Capgras Delusion, a feature of schizophrenia where the mind identifies a familiar face, but fails to recall all the corresponding data. It produces an uncanny effect, making the person doubt their friend/family member/boss/neighbor is "the real version."

Ranking autism by number of tax payments is really the most fucking depressing thing.
You didn’t pay for the war in Gaza? Because you were off in your own world and we couldn’t demand a job from you? Good for you, man.
@RobertKennedyJr go swim in a poison lake again
@JamieWhistle@robwmedia@LGBCourage Your cosmetic hangup isn't compelling to me, whatever that's about. My husband (who has cerebral palsy) had constructive surgery on his hand as a child that was partially cosmetic. Everyone asked his opinion and honored it. What's the problem?
@JamieWhistle@robwmedia@LGBCourage Okaaaay. So you're saying only "a few" kids from your clinic were satisfied with their care? Or "a few" nationally? or "a few" in history, or what?
@ReportedTeacup yeah, this is something I told her; that the request itself is offputting to most. To those who have the energy, have at it. For those who don't, that also makes a lotta sense.
Hi Carrie, what I also have is the data set of the patients from my center (mirroring what is seen through systematic reviews) that shows ineffective, dangerous interventions which have no diagnostic reliability.
My DMs are open I am happy to have a longer conversation.
In testimony, I’m allowed limited time and sharing individual impactful stories serves the public dialogue, but systematic reviews provide the data (math) that you are referencing.
I will never say that you can’t find a few happy people who accessed these interventions, but that’s simply not how we judge how efficacious and safe a medical protocol (especially one with children) should be judged.
@JamieWhistle we'll have to wait (here's an example from a friend I sent your tweet to) but Im sure more than three people are willing to counter your examples. I can think of five people I know directly who loved their GAC, but I expect them all to feel roughly like this.
