A woman tells GMB she was raped by John Worboys 11 years before his first recorded offence. Her testimony comes as a number of women have reported new claims to police after our exclusive interview with @carrielbjohnson in which she urged those who have stayed silent to speak out

Following our coverage and Carrie’s call for a direct contact within the Met for victims to go to, they have set up a new mailbox for anyone who wants to report any information relating to Worboys…
Beyond honoured to have pursued, produced and delivered a story that could effect change going forward and help encourage those who have sat silently with the trauma to speak out.
Thank you Carrie for choosing GMB to deliver your powerful message.
Speaking out takes immense courage. Carrie Johnson’s powerful @GMB interview will mean a lot to many survivors - and may encourage more to come forward.
But when victims do report, the justice system must deliver. Right now, agonising court delays are driving many away👇
Carrie Johnson has said there could be "up to 1,000, if not more" John Worboys victims, as she said she has been contacted by people who believe they were assaulted by the serial rapist.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Johnson, the wife of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, recounted her encounter with Worboys and the journey she went through to give evidence against him.
My dear friend "Sarah" speaking so bravely here to @susannareid100
The fact that more women are coming forward only confirms to me that we still don't know the full extent of Worboys' offending, and why it is so important that he remains behind bars

More women have come forward with allegations against convicted 'black cab rapist' John Worboys following the ITV drama Believe Me.
The series details the account of an anonymous survivor, 'Sarah.'
Drugged and assaulted by Worboys in 2003, she tells @susannareid100 how the police initially disbelieved her story, allowing his attacks to continue.
Brave and brilliant from Carrie. She has not only protected more women from this horrendous man, she has also shone a light on the treatment of many women by the police after sexual assault.
Excellent news just in. John Worboys was up for parole this week but we have just been told that the Parole Board member did not direct release or recommend a move to open conditions.
It has been a hugely anxious wait knowing that Worboys was up for parole again. The relief I feel knowing that he will remain behind bars is hard to put into words. Women and girls across Britain are safer as a result of this decision.
