AI is only as useful as the people willing to push it further.
@OpenAI joined us at Cars24 for hands-on Codex sessions. Real problems, sharp questions, and a lot of building.
Two days of learning and pushing what AI can do.

Cars24 turns 11 today. And after all these years, I know this much: what looks important from the outside is not always what carries you through the hard days.
Money matters. I want it too, and people who say money doesn't matter usually already have theirs. But when things get hard, money is not what keeps me going.
What keeps me going is purpose, love for the work itself, and trying to do something beautifully for our customers and for each other.
I am one of the founders of Cars24, and I own more of this company than you do. But nobody is born a founder, and no title makes you one forever. It is a mindset I try to earn every day. And I want every Builder to earn it too.
You earn it when something is broken for a customer or a teammate and you care too much to walk past it. You find out what is really going on, make the call and stay with it. It will not make every minute easy. But it makes the work feel alive. That is what Flatland is for. Anyone can work this way, not just a few of us.
If you own a problem, you will sometimes get it wrong. I still do. When it happens, don't sit on it. Say it early, look at it honestly and make the next call better. You own the call, the truth about it and what you learn from it. What happens to Cars24 is on me. That includes the people I chose, the environment I shaped and the things I let continue.
So when you make a sincere call and it fails, and the room goes quiet, and people look around to see who takes the hit, look to your left. I will be standing there. You will not face it alone, and you will not be offered up to make a bad month look explained. I got you 200%, always. That is my promise.
I make that promise because the Cars24 I dream about cannot be built by people playing it safe. We are in a strong place financially, but that is not what I am chasing. I want us to redefine mobility and what a customer can expect from a company. I want us to build one of the most meaningful companies India has given the world in the last hundred years. We have not earned that yet. I want it more today than I did on day one. Tomorrow morning, we get back to earning it.
Thank you for building this with me.
Happy birthday, Autonauts and everyone who believed in us.
Keep moving Forward.
@DeepakKKakkkar Hi Deepak! We’re sorry that you’re still awaiting a clear update. Our team is actively working on this and will get back to you as soon as we have further information.
Gurgaon loves its superlatives: ambitious, global, world-class.
But a city is not measured by its glass buildings. It is measured by whether ordinary people can get home when it rains.
Year after year, the answer is still a hard no. Can we get this basic thing right without asking people to adjust?
P.S. We sent the boats out all week. It started as a joke and ended up being useful. Should Cars24 officially launch Boats24, or do you think anything will change?

Went through every reply on our billboard thread. Expected anger about privacy. Got almost none.
What people actually said, over and over: we'll take the mirror, now show the whole picture. Roads, contractors, officials, spending. Accountability for everyone, not just drivers.
That's the most hopeful thing I've read in years. A public that argues for more transparency, including its own, deserves better systems than it has.

Two minutes. That is how long it takes to cut a ₹1 lakh part off your car while it sits parked in your own basement.
No broken glass. No alarm. Nothing you can see missing.
I have spent over a decade in the used car business and I could not have told you where this part sits on my own car. It's the catalytic converter, under the floor. Inside it are metals rarer and 2-5x costlier than gold (platinum, palladium and rhodium) that is the entire reason it gets stolen.
One car holds a pinch of them. A thousand cars, crushed and refined, is a serious business. Once refined, nobody can trace it back to any car.
Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune. Organised gangs, parked cars. But that theft you find out about. The car roars the next morning.
The outer body shell stays bolted on emptied, welded shut, put back. Sounds normal. Looks normal. Cleans nothing. Your car passes every check and pollutes like it's 1995.
Every winter we argue about stubble and dust. Some of it is parked in our own basement.
Thanks for @cars24india content guru @AkshatAjeya and team to raise this issue 💙
