@OSUItalianFilm Never realized that thanksgiving movies were so big. I thought once Halloween hit, the day after it was Christmas movies from there on out. Might have to check a few of these out!
@OSUItalianFilm Visiting Rome would be awesome to go to one day, the beach In Ostia is the most interesting because it just gives a calm vibe off that could be relaxing from the whole mafia scene
@OSUItalianFilm Suburra has many different characters as well as different story lines. Suburra got the viewers hooked right at the beginning and that’s why I think it was better.
@OSUItalianFilm@GomorrahUS@GomorraLaSerie I definitely thought the 2nd episode was the best, all the scenes were super suspenseful and the scene where Ciro shot the man leaving Genny in fear was my favorite scene
@OSUItalianFilm It was very different from the film. A lot more voilence and was more upbeat as well. Ciro is also likeable as well. I think the series is a little easier to follow along to, rather than the film
@OSUItalianFilm Maria was by far the most sympathetic because she was never involved in the crimes and actions that took place. She was loyal to the mafia.
@OSUItalianFilm Totos story was the most interesting in my opinion because we got to see his rise into the Camorra. Also we how he chose the mafia over Maria was an interesting part of the story
@OSUItalianFilm Locations in Gomorrah kind of rivaled the rest of the mafia films we have watched. This was more of a darker scene where other movies were upbeat in the light of the city
@OSUItalianFilm The only biopic that I have seen is Rocketman. I was able to see the personal life of Elton John and it was a very good film in my opinion
@OSUItalianFilm I think the mise-en-scene was the most interesting film technique because it’s what makes the movie itself so great. In the Leopard, the ballroom scene has wonderful mise-en-scene. The costumes are amazing. The makeup and props were also very well done.
@OSUItalianFilm Fabrizio wants things to stay as they are but when he realizes that they aren’t he has to make change in order to keep it that way and it saddens him
@OSUItalianFilm The mafia formed around the birth of Italy. So it’s important to know where it came from in the first place. We also see in the movie an untrusting government which leads to the birth of the mafia
@OSUItalianFilm Sonny’s death is the most compelling because it was so unexpected while he was on the way to his sister. It also lead to Michael being the next Don.
@OSUItalianFilm I feel the most sympathy for Michael because he really wanted to go his own way and do his own thing. But when his father was shot he had to take measures into his own hands and he knew he was the only one that could do it
@OSUItalianFilm The hit on Don Vito is the biggest turning point because it turns Michael into wanting to be the new Don. Before that he wanted nothing of it
@OSUItalianFilm I have heard of Camorra but I have no idea about it. I have family out East and it might’ve came up in conversation. I’m not too sure 😅😅
