“I had a wild moment where I took the lead and my spotter said ‘clear’ and for the first time in my career I heard the people more than my spotter. It’s really an honor to represent the community. I love my state, I love my hometown, and I love being out there.” —@ConorDaly22
Thanks to @DaleCoyneRacing + @JoeGibbsRacing for making it happen. I’m still struggling to process this tragedy. @KyleBusch was a teammate @Lexus. He couldn’t have been more generous when my son first arrived in Charlotte. He was a friend and I got to see his true character❤️💪
@astro_kianna I did PA to FL with the worst flu of my life several years ago…..I thank the Lord my dad was driving because I was out of work for a week after I got home.
@NicoleOnRacing Florida weather is like IMS…..you don’t mess around with it or piss it off …..lived there for 10 years and weather is no joke. There’s a reason there’s a hockey team called the Lightning

In memory of a true racer, a friend and someone who meant so much to so many. His competitive spirit and resilience left a lasting mark on the sport, and he inspired everyone around him to keep pushing, no matter the challenge.
We’re thinking of his family, friends and all who knew him.
The FIA is saddened to learn of the passing of Alex Zanardi, the former Formula 1 driver, two-time CART champion whose journey from life-changing accident to Paralympics gold medallist made him one of sport’s most admired competitors and an enduring symbol of courage and determination.
