I picked her up, and she instantly started purring, wiggled up to my face, curled into a little ball under my chin, and started kneading my jacket. Stanza had made her decision clear, and even though it was too soon in some ways, Stanza was very much ready to go home that day

I don't think I ever told the full Stanza adoption story.

I went to the SPCA a couple of days after Canto passed. They had 15 kittens there, and if not for Stanza, I doubt I would've adopted anyone. It was too soon, and I just wanted to see what kinda cats were available

When I went into the kitten room, Stanza saw me before I saw her, and she started howling. I'm short sighted, so at first, all I could see was this grey blob, but when I got closer, she was shockingly pretty. Such beautiful colours, the sweetest face, and she reminded me of Canto

I had a dream that Canto was back, and he was best friends with Stanza. They were zooming about, chasing eachother

Stanza is not happy. I had a shower, which means that she had to spend a whole 10 minutes by herself

Stanza and Nocturne are doing so well. Stanza isnt scared of him anymore, and while that means Nocturne gets harassed more often, last night when Nocturne gave her licks, she reciprocated
