Dear @USAA, this is my last attempt since filing a claim in October to appeal to your sense of doing the right thing. My generator was replaced. It was not damaged from flood waters rising, but it was damaged from a week of sideways rain and high winds. Please help.
@USAA and I apologize for pinging here, however dealing with your claims portal is like dealing with a black hole. I seem to only hear back when I ping you here.
@USAA the claims manager said she needed proof, so I gave her the licensed generac repairman’s number to contact him directly. She said there were no photos of it, yet I uploaded photos of the generator when I filed.
Been a customer of @usaa for over 30 years. Used to love their service. Now, since Helene, and the back and forth with claims (and nothing happening) I have only regrets.
Hola, for those of you in the Research Triangle Park Area, RDU NC, there's a super affordable, packed with speakers Agile event called TriAgile held April 4th. And food will be served! https://t.co/1LstvKZBI0 - see you there!
founders and investors obsess over cash runway, but a founder friend recently brought up the idea of 'emotional runway' and i can't get it out of my head
running out of money kills lots of companies, but i think not enough people talk about how running out of willpower kills just as many
I want to tell you something:
@AlyssaM_InfoSec never intended to be a role model. She was just trying to make her way through the world. And she did both. Spectacularly.
@JackRhysider never meant to start a movement. He was just trying to make the type of podcast he himself would listen to.
@Jun34u_sec never set out to start a revolution around training and awareness. She was just hoping to get better at communicating with others.
@HackingDave never set out to be a role model, or a conference organizer, or an inspiration to over 100,000 people.
@InfoSecSherpa didn’t intend to become a role model and inspiration to those who live in the intersection of library science and infosec. As a matter of fact, that intersection didn’t even exist until she showed us that it should. And we owe her for that.
@jaysonstreet never meant to inspire people in over 45 countries to become better human beings. He was just just trying to survive. And to be kind.
@IanColdwater never strived to be a social media celebrity. They just wanted to hack shit. And they were so damm good at it that they became a social media celebrity.
@Blenster wasn’t trying to show us a better way to live. He was just showing us how he lives.
@medus4_cdc never intended to be part of the biggest communication revolution of the century. She was just trying to help her fellow hackers.
I could go on and on. But my point is this:
Whatever you are doing, do more of it. Because you might not just be breaking the rules. You might be rewriting them.
Hack the fucking planet.
