@cunningdrew @visacashapprb @yukitsunoda07 besides you absolutly have to cover up a potential undercut. they were a much bigger threat. the probability of them fighting with the top teams is very unlikely. otherwise are you saying if you are in P1 for example and the one behind you pits you arent covering it?

@cunningdrew @visacashapprb @yukitsunoda07 the one stop was the alternative strategy, no one knew it would be the better strategy until Yuki made it work. Btw you didnt adress my other points, the only positions lost were against top cars and against a alternative strategy. The strategy couldnt have been that horrendous

@cunningdrew @visacashapprb @yukitsunoda07 why? they covered off the undercut which was pretty useful as we saw at the front with Hamilton and he only lost positions against Tsunoda who made the one stop work which no one even considered and against Perez and Russel which was always going to happen

Second the undercut is pretty significant so the team decided to cover against the people who couldve undercut them. they basically adapted the same strategy as all the other cars around them
