Big fan of designing a concept home/splash page for your product before you build the product. It is the first possible proxy for what every customer, investor, and employee will see, and a miraculous source of alignment for the team.
@scottbelsky I’ve traditionally used this technique rather than a mood board as it brings in context of marketing and branding which connects and engages design and dev teams!
thinking: a key pillar of happiness, beyond having life’s basic needs, is feeling fully utilized. putting aside your comp/title/feeling of self-importance, happiness seems to peek when your skills are fully engaged (personal + professional) and learning curve is steep.
