🚨 Lucasfilm are "aggressively" pushing for a Star Wars Battlefront 3 according to a new rumour!

Both DICE and Bungie are in talks over a new Battlefront game.

Really quite let down by the siege community here. Turnouts for events are great until it's BYOC. Same barrier as last time. Seems the community just doesn't want events badly enough.

[EPIC.LAN UK Gaming & Esports Events @EPICLAN]

As of 14th October 2026, signups for the EPIC49 Rainbow 6 Siege tournament have officially closed. With the event only two weeks away, the number of registered teams unfortunately does not meet the minimum required to justify continuing with the tournament.

This has lead us to make the difficult decision to cancel the tournament as of today.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, and we hope to see as many of you as possible down in Kettering for EPIC49.

Thank you for your understanding.

@aliosot You've argued against your own point there what

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@aliosot i have been to multiple, paid for them myself and took holidays to go, idk man

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S Agree to disagree and all that then

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@aliosot The issue is everyone treating this like an esports event and not a fun community event you go town with your pals.

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S What's ewc got to do with this hahaha? And I'm not huilt tripping people I'm genuinely just annoyed at folk for not going. Who cares what some bum retires caster anyway. It's whatever

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S I'm allowed to be a bit annoyed people didn't show up to the event I pushed to get for 3 years lol. Sorry for trying to get more events for us. My bad boss.

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S But does though? We are going in circles because you refuse to differentiate between regular events with everything provided and BYOC events. This is a pointless discussion if you aren't going to acknowledge they are different

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S Personally I've been to 4 or 5 epics and probably spent about 3-400 each time and I went just because it's a great weekend at a gaming event. That's literally it. Again I come back to being disappointed that our community doesn't fuck with that evidently

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@Den_R6 @VelocityyyR6S I get you, still sad we can't muster enough teams for it tbh

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@Den_R6 @VelocityyyR6S You're approaching it as a comp player (rightly so) so I get what you mean..my issue is that for Epic it is usually overwhelmingly stacks of friends/pickups that go to it with some established teams. It's just disappointing that siege doesn't have that is my point

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S First part no, I said I understand teams, meaning orgs. My disappointment is placed in the wider community not going to BYOC and again idk why you keep bringing up other events when I'm specifically saying that people don't go to BYOC in the UK

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S Velocity PLEASE. I specified I meant BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER (BYOC) events is where siege has the issue. Not the usual events. I'm disappointed that the players don't translate over

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@G1ngyFPS And it wouldn't be the first time either

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@Duffersssss @Avo1d1R6 TLDR: the siege community will go to every event in the uk except BYOC events and that's disappointing. Quite easy to understand

[Chambourine 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @chambourine]

@VelocityyyR6S Again, you're missing why I'm disappointed. Looking at it as an investment and not a great weekend with loads of your mates having a good time is the issue and why I'm upset about it. Other communities have that and we dont
