Today, they are saying that a new system that is "inspired by" the classic matchmaking is being added, alongside Open.

Call of Duty will now have a "Classic" matchmaking system, which they state is a 'new system' inspired by the original Black Ops and Black Ops 2 systems, alongside the Open matchmaking playlists.

Both will be in Black Ops 7 and MW4 Beta.
