I can't put into words how good it feels to be back to creating.
Last night I watched a good video about the overvisitation of the USA's big national parks, driven by big budget tourism campaigns and social media.
The crux of the issue?
"Today an increasing number of people are going outside not to get lost or to explore, but to be seen."
@cathsimard_ Yeah trees are an absolute nightmare. I've had luck with using the background eraser tool to refine a mask further but you inevitably have to clean up the stupid little bits

1/ as we experience solar max and an increased chance of aurora viewing for more of the population, I hope it widens the conversation on dark sky preservation. I’m sure many people who attempted to view the northern lights at the weekend had a tough time due to light pollution
Back again to stick this one up for people to see. Had a weekend of killer skies, super exciting stuff. Aurora, Milky Way, some cool galaxies... all that you want in astrophotography. Hope you enjoy this one 🙂
