Sewing classes funded with grant from @TNLComFund are in the last month. Students are now able to make bags, file covers and clothing, and more, upcycling waste fabrics, also they repair and re-purpose unwanted clothes.
Thanks for the support for Rotary's Earthquake Appeal. Our street collection raised £540. Together with the previous amounts donated the total raised is well over £2,500. Initial support was for emergency supplies and second phase is support for mainly "accommodation" works.
A great night ... Our annual Quiz in aid of Youth charities raised £1,300 thanks to our popular quizmaster Gary Miles and all the attendees of the quiz.
Croci we planted last year around Cheam Memorial Garden are in bloom. Croci are a good source for pollinators and they are a symbol of End Polio Now. Rotary is 99.9% close to elimination of polio from the world. #endpolionow

End Polio Now fundraising dinner and raffle was a great success enjoyed by 55 people. Everyone loves the traditional curry meal we have to celebrate World Polio Day... a touch of Halloween too.
