All you need to do is make sure it is clear of all decorations and cut it in half if over 5ft tall.
If you have a garden waste subscription you can place it in your brown bin, if you don't place it next your blue bin.

Just crumple it in your hand, if it stays scrunched, it can go in your recycling bin, make sure to remove any glitter, bows and sellotape. If it bounces back, pop it in your green bin.
