@TeamCanada Men’s & Women’s hockey have nothing to hang their heads about. Both incredible games!! Congratulations @TeamUSA on the gold 🥇’s. We should all feel fortunate to see that level of play in the Olympics in hockey. Only 1 gold medal to win but imo great performance 🇨🇦

#bluejays Steven Kwan trade is very important.Better contact,base running,& defense than Tucker. Less power less $. Only young “untouchables” should be Yesavage,Barger,King, & either Nimmala or Parker.Everything else on the table & potential for extension of Kwan .295 60RBI 15hr

@Baseball_Jenn Strong rotation.Improved bullpen-could still see an upgrade now or at the deadline. Internal improvements I’m not 100% sold on.I really think that a Kwan trade would be invaluable! Not giving young talent of Barger, Yesavage, King, but others… maybe!?!

@myabradshaw78 @suzannealma That is NOT basically what she said. She said they are making strategic partnerships, not free trade agreements, and that they will wait until actions take place and not react to posturing. Baiting and games is another country’s leaders playbook.

#bluejays Cody Bellinger- Jays offer 6 yrs $215M or 7yrs $240. In this market price makes sense, & as much about getting Bellinger out of NYY. Allows trade options of Loparfido & Lukes. Bellinger numbers were very similar to Tucker but short porch w/NYY was a help.

#bluejays took the #Dodgers to extras game 7 of the WS.The Tucker signing was as much LA making sure he didn’t end up in TO as much as they wanted/needed him in the lineup.The Jays should apply that same logic to Bellinger & the #Yankees and do everything possible to sign Bo!

@JesseRogersESPN Absolutely ridiculous and he’s not worth that. No player is! Tuckers injury history alone has caution flags! Who would opt out of that deal, there’s nothing coming longer and higher than that! As a #Bluejays fan disappointed but NEVER thought the $$ was at those numbers. 🤪

@barnacleman23 If the AAV is $50M or above for Kyle Tucker, I’m glad the #BlueJays did not “win” the bidding and contract beyond 6 or 7 years. Dodgers can have him at that price but if the money is all deferred again, the system has to be fixed! Disappointed yes, but Tucker is not top 3 in MLB.
