Tony Hawk is signing the skateboard which was the first implementation of PBT (EIP-5791), a standard for linking physical to digital from @ChiruLabs.
What sets PBT apart:
•Tokens follow the physical item post-mint, which enables proof of physical ownership
•Tokens are transferable without a centralized server

A new open-source library from @ChiruLabs has just been released https://t.co/DA7DdXxtIL
It’s a lightweight frontend module for PBT integrations that makes it easy to sign messages with the chip.
Excited to see the community’s creations come to life over the next few months 👷
Introducing ERC721A: The Lore
At the recent Azuki Tokyo meet up, I was asked about how I made ERC721A. People seem to have found the story interesting and I was encouraged to share it more broadly, so here you go 🧵
Tech resources from @ChiruLabs:
1. ERC721A was deployed in January this year. It has become a go-to contract for any NFT project that seeks to save gas, with over 2K Github stars and adoption from major projects in the space (@moonbirds, @doodles, @RTFKT, and many more).
Royalties have changed the lives of many artists and creators. While there isn't a perfect technical solution to enforce royalties, we are actively exploring ways to keep this culture alive.
The magic that brought us all here should be what brings in many more.
Contact @2pmflow with any questions around PBT and how to get started. We’re excited to build the future of digital & physical together!

Since PBT became open source, we’ve seen a lot of energy around the possibilities with using this technology - whether its from other projects eager to implement, or other devs opening PRs to add more reference implementations to the repo.
Azuki uses a custom verification bot to enhance the garden entry experience and to minimize exploits.
