So the thing I wanted to finish up writing, I'm finally done with.
Sure there'll probably be edits, and I'll also probably add some vids as well.
But this is basically a shout-out to all VTubers, and a hearty shout out to a particularly special one!

This is a word of mouth movie. Which is sad because capitalism no longer allows word of mouth movies to succeed. I hope it gets a fair shot to grow. It was so good
Every couple generations a story comes along and tells society whats important, Luke Skywalker did the same thing in Return of the Jedi, empathy, kindness and love are the way of the Jedi. Glad this message is cool again.
“My issue is she's a tomboy. Short hair, close combat brawler, and so on. Why would i support masculine female characters in Eastern games when i avoid them in Western games? This shit is borderline woke.”
Anyways… here’s Makoto the GOAT!
You don’t have to explain fisting when it’s a guy with a giant fist punching people.
Two, no kid is going to even clock what a double entendre is
Three, cats are referred to as PUSSY as in PUSSY CAT.
You aren’t serious.
Transformers had swinging “testicles” and kids went
This, because no one woman is the same. They have different ideas of how to be loved and how to be intimate-hell, some *don't* like that.
Working that out with each other is essential to the health of the relationship!
So what. A good movie is a good movie, regardless of "nostalgia." Nobody had any nostalgia for The Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. I don't know why He-Man is bombing but it isn't due to the quality of the film or the likability of its characters.
Looks like another Speed Racer or Alita Battle Angel unfortunately. It is what it is.
By far the standout performance of the film is Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms; a genuinely grounded, sincere portrayal of a father, soldier, teacher & friend struggling with PTSD after experiencing a monumental failure.
He did our Duncan proud!❤️
MOTU's unfortunate box office numbers made people say "See?! See?! Gen Z doesn't care about old stuff!"
Well I am Gen Z and I absolutely care. You don't speak for me. Old stuff has more personality and charm than the "hip" and "cool" media made by my fellow young people.
Yeah. They both were good.
Audiences didn't show up because both films were niche (if we are being honest) Plus, the people behind the films (and media) made comments about demasculinizing or toxic masculinity that turned off the core audience.
In both cases, it wasn't true.
