@lilyraynyc Most of the firings occured on Escapist and Video Gamer, not eSportsInsider too if I recall correctly so they would’ve hit those sites first if AI writers were the point of contention I’d say (although esportsinsider was probably strongest value/traffic wise)
@lilyraynyc Don’t think its the AI writers that prompted Google to react, that company has been notorious for a while even in the iGaming affiliate space due to their aggressive parasite/dropped domain approach, Google just performatively killed on of their many domains
@KitKlarenberg@vonbrucken Love your work in general just think that a lot of people from the outside have these misconceptions because at first glance the situation might look similar to Maidan or Georgia, but in reality its far from it. Of course, the formal opposition parties are sellouts and are hated
@KitKlarenberg@vonbrucken The West does not support the protests, on the contrary they support Vucic (or tolerate him at worst). Even if they did, the anti-government sentiment here is completely legitimate (and not pro west or anti-Russian), as Vucic’s government is comically corrupt and murderous
@KitKlarenberg@vonbrucken Also, the Belivuk klan which literally butchered people and put them in meat grinders had tacit support from the government until the Sky messaging breach made it impossible not to arrest them
@KitKlarenberg@vonbrucken I know some people from the outside might think Vucic is some anti-imperialist (lol) while he sends weapons to Ukraine and Israel. Both the left and the right despise him for selling out the economy to western capital and undercutting national industries (such as Krusik etc).
@zei_squirrel Gotta hand it to John for his patience when speaking with absolute tools like this woman. She even admits that she doesn’t know the historical context lol, maybe educate yourself before holding a talk show about the topic?
@illiciture True but what is corny is that they felt the needed to include Taash’s line twice, with the second one also having terrible delivering. Granted the whole Dragon King questline was very uninspired, including the last boss fight
@dragcnmickie All of the companion quests are structured in the same way - defeat the cringe companion villain you first heard about five minutes ago and this will solve the companion’s internal struggle. Near the end of the game you’ll be bombarded with their quests so much you’ll hate them
