Xcode 27 sim lost its notch.

@JingJing_113 @that_chand these are toolbars and not navbars. Floating navbars were never a part of Google’s design.

@Brownques it’s still a native macOS app with Liquid Glass unlike the web wrapper Windows has.

[chris @christoph_fer]

@zacbowden we've got marxist looking Surface Laptop before GTA 6

iPhone 8 Plus getting iOS updates 9 years after its launch is crazy

[chris @christoph_fer]

@tomwarren I miss the days when Windows updates were exciting. What is this random number even?

[chris @christoph_fer]

@itsdurreadan imagine picking a color to please others… if i like burgundy i wouldn’t care what others would think about it 12 months from now

[chris @christoph_fer]

@zacbowden all he did was open a bunch of random apps. that’s not multitasking

[chris @christoph_fer]

@Jordanx147x @vkrnt_vk @DylanMcD8 the current foldable have a very visible crease, reflective displays and the software experience that is nowhere close to what apple has done.

[chris @christoph_fer]

@Videohubs0000 @android_fhd no because that’s a category they entered in. apple themselves would say folding phones isn’t their idea but they executed the concept in their own way. regardless, I applaud the dev who made this but again it’s a 1:1 re-creation of something that already exists.

[dany @danywander]

i see lots of people rebuilding this effect and that's great.

but remember, repeating is easy, come up with initial idea is genius.

[chris @christoph_fer]

@Phonenurd even those developers know Apple really nailed the Duo

[chris @christoph_fer]

@vkrnt_vk @DylanMcD8 the way I see it, apple has simply entered the foldable market bringing along what they do the best – a polished software and hardware UX. and if I were to buy a foldable phone, I’d rather wait for a company to do it right rather than shelling out cash on a “cool new product”

[chris @christoph_fer]

@vkrnt_vk @DylanMcD8 the point is no one ever came up with this idea. copying is easier.

[chris @christoph_fer]

@zacbowden cope

[chris @christoph_fer]

@theo The point is that Samsung could never come up with this idea. Copying is easy.
