When your 2 yr old grandchild hands you a toy phone, Papa answers the phone. When your 42 yr old son, Courtney Stecker says Dad, we are going diving (and your last open water dive was 44 yrs ago). Dad says “what time are we leaving?” A truly incredible day.

We broke ground today on the new Veterans Memorial Center at the Fargo National Cemetery. This is a big step and is a result of hard work and partnership across all levels of government and the private sector.

Thanks to @FargoMHG and our community working group we’re building a first-class federal cemetery that properly honors our veterans. We appreciate VA Under Secretary @sambrownusa for his support and ensuring this cemetery serves our veterans, their families and the cemetery’s volunteers for decades to come.
