Sandi Morris picks up her TENTH U.S. title in the pole vault with a signature performance, clearing 4.90m on the first try to win the #USATFoutdoor final and defend her title from 2025.

Morris’s dominance in the event goes back a decade, as her first national title came indoors in 2016.

Nikki Hiltz wins their EIGHTH consecutive U.S. 1500m title, extending a streak that goes back to 2023 indoors with a flawlessly timed kick to take the #USATFoutdoor win in 4:06.92.

Hiltz used a 58.80 final 400m to overtake and just barely hold off runner-up Addy Wiley by 0.04 seconds, who in turn just beat out third-placed Emily Mackay by 0.02.

A comically slow #USATFoutdoor 1500m final leads to a predictable conclusion, as Nathan Green shows his tactical prowess once again and squeezes the field with a 51.65 final 400m to take the win in 3:50.27.

Vince Ciattei takes second in 3:50.32, as NAU’s Rheinhardt Harrison rounds out the podium in 3:50.65.

AIN’T OVER ‘TIL IT’S OVER 🫨

A crowded race leads to a BATTLE for the win at the line as Nathan Mountain dives for a 8:13.81 victory in the #USATFoutdoor steeplechase, just beating out a hard-closing Carson Williams, second in a new lifetime best of 8:13.88.

Mountain only finished ninth in the NCAA final six weeks ago, and now he’s your U.S. national champion.

Gabbi Jennings gets her career-best finish at a U.S. championship with a 9:17.42 for second behind winner Lexy Halladay-Lowry. Jennings led the first six laps of the race and kept the pace honest before Halladay-Lowry pulled away with a strong finish over the last 600m.

Turning into a busy weekend 😅

Olympic long jump champ Tara Davis-Woodhall takes a detour on her way to defending her #USATFoutdoor title through the 100m hurdles, qualifying for the finals with a 12.82 for second on her heat behind Tonea Marshall (12.80).

In just her third 100H in the last five years, Davis-Woodhall beat 2x NCAA champ Aaliyah McCormick head-to-head. 👀

Chris Bailey gets a #USATFoutdoor 400m title to go along with his U.S. indoor title from 2025, running 44.39 to beat out runner-up Khaleb McRae by just 0.02 seconds.

Bailey initially crossed the finish line second, but Justin Robinson was later disqualified for a lane violation after initially finishing first in 44.31.

Winning any kind of way 🌪️

After five #USATFoutdoor 200m titles, @LylesNoah doesn’t let a little headwind throw him off his game, winning his heat in 20.51 (-1.9).

He wasn’t the only one, as USC’s Garrett Kaalund took heat 1 in 20.46 (-1.7) and Brandon Hicklin battled the elements most of all but still ran the fastest, leading all qualifiers with a 20.43 into a 2.8 m/s headwind.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden opens up her campaign for another #USATFoutdoor 200m title in fine form, leading all qualifiers with a 22.50 heat win on a day with a lot of headwinds.

Cambrea Sturgis (22.58) and Kaila Jackson (23.05) also win their heats, as veteran Jenna Prandini sneaks into the final on time with a 23.01 third-place finish in heat 2.
