We're making parking in the City easier than ever 🚗

A major upgrade of the City of Perth’s 12 boom-gated car parks is now underway to deliver a faster, more convenient parking experience.

All car parks will be equipped with Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) and the option to pay-at-the-exit.

The upgrades will make it easier to park in the City, supporting a vibrant and accessible city centre.

The first upgrade has now been completed at Mayfair Street Car Park in West Perth.

The HBF Run for a Reason will be held on Sunday 24 May 2026, starting from 6:35am on William Street in the Perth CBD, with three courses finishing at Gloucester Park in East Perth.

Road closures will be in place for the HBF Run for a Reason, with William Street closed from 11pm Sat 23 May and additional closures from 4am on event day. Parking restrictions and towing may apply. Roads are expected to reopen by 1pm.

Please allow extra travel time and plan ahead.

🏢 Business Relocation Grant 2026/27 – Applications now open

The City of Perth is now accepting applications for the Business Relocation Grant 2026/27.
Grants from $10,000 up to $50,000 (ex GST) are available to support businesses relocating to the city, helping to offset eligible costs such as removalists, fit-out works, signage and security improvements.

Funding of up to $150,000 is available for arts and cultural initiatives that engage the community and celebrate Perth’s cultural identity.
