Ontario’s tallest water tower is on the rise in Timmins.

The 10-million-litre tank is being welded at ground level before it’s inspected, coated, and eventually hoisted skyward.

The nomination period for candidates running for Mayor, City Council, and School Board Trustee closed at 2:00 p.m.

The Clerk’s Dept. is responsible for reviewing each nomination to ensure candidates are qualified and nomination requirements have been met. The official list of certified candidates will be available by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24.
