β‘The "energy traps" in organic photovoltaics β spin-triplet excitons β have long been lost as heat, unable to generate electricity. #CityUHK Professor Alex Jen's team has broken a decade-long bottleneck, βturned waste into treasureβ by recycling these excitons into usable charge carriers, achieving 20.5% power conversion efficiency!

Oyster shells β not just waste, but a "super tool" for marine ecosystems! π¦ͺ
#CityUHK and Sino Group have launched the "Oyster Inno Discovery" programme for oyster reef restoration. Nearly 300 hand-crafted oyster shell strings have been deployed at the Marina of Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club, creating new homes for marine life. ππ
The programme also features STEAM workshops and marine life displays to bring conservation into schools and communities. π¬
