Addressing the nexus of sustainable peace, development and climate change, the Climate Response for Sustaining Peace was launched today with a series of in-depth panel discussions, and an introductory remarks by #COP27 President Sameh Shoukry.
A group of grassroots feminists talked about changing the colonial, patriarchal view of women and the planet as disposable to one of appreciation, respect, and nurturing. “If you are about care, a just transition, and undoing the violence of colonialism then you are [a feminist]”
